I've always been rather stalwart against illegal immigration...

but, this video is rather hard to advocate.

In fact, I think it is insulting.

But, you're welcome to disagree if you like.

  2. I would strongly suggest watching the video before making a judgment.

    The song is trying to making a point with sarcasm. I would largely advocate the points of the straight argument behind the song. The problem is the presentation. The singer speaks about the problem of illegal immigration and the consequences of a large influx of Mexican people in a way that almost seems to slur them racially. No obvious words, just the way it is presented.

    It might have helped if the singer spoke of "illegal immigration" more than he mentioned "immigration." The whole song sounds sort of like a snoddy "We're better than immigrants."
